A pure single rum from Jamaica, produced by the HAMPDEN distillery, bottled in 2023 by Habitation VELIER in OWH (Outram Wormald Hussey) classification corresponding to the lowest ester rate in the production of the Hampden distillery which contributes to giving with rum its empyreumatic notes.

Description
This Habitation Rum VELIER HAMPDEN 7 years 2016 OWH offers a beautiful old gold color.
The nose offers notes of vetiver, hydrocarbons, exotic fruits and butterscotch, the second nose leans towards medicinal notes.
The palate is lively and fresh, it evokes notes of aromatic herbs, hydrocarbons but also a slight sweetness. Notes of butterscotch then appear, giving way to notes of exotic fruits and flowers in the finish. A hint of menthol accompanies everything, which gives a lot of freshness to this tasting.
Luca Gargano is the soul of VELIER, an independent bottler and importer in Italy. L'Habitation VELIER was created in 2015 and is dedicated to bottling premium rums from various origins, but with the common point of no added sugar, no coloring, no flavorings, no reduction.
OWH means “Outram Wormald Hussey” classification corresponding to the lowest ester level in the production of the Hampden distillery which contributes to giving the rum its empyreumatics. Aging is 100% tropical under Jamaican skies, in ex-American Bourbon oak barrels.
