Saumur Champigny BIO Le CLOS MARCONNET by Domaine des FROGERES is a very fine organic red wine from the Loire. You'll love its beautiful deep garnet colour, the wine's charming nose evokes a basket of ripe black fruit and a bouquet of white flowers, the palate is round and full, the best of Cabernet Franc when grown on magnificent terroirs by the great masters of the genre. Michel Joseph, who founded the estate in 1980 and converted it to organic farming in 1998, passed the torch to his nephews François Xavier and Valentin in 2015. The estate is in good hands. A great wine at a very reasonable price ... Thank you!
