This creation from Maison Isautier combines the tangy freshness of 4 Seasons lemon, grown in the tropics, with the warm, spicy character of ginger. Stronger than classic flavoured rums thanks to its 40% ABV, it offers a remarkable balance between liveliness, aromatic intensity and rich flavour. Its notes of fresh lemon, citrus zest, candied ginger and mild pepper make it a flavoured rum with real character.
Description
Isautier Intense Lemon 4 Seasons & Ginger flavoured rum has a brilliant colour with golden highlights. The nose is particularly expressive, with aromas of freshly zested lemon, lime, fresh ginger, citrus blossom and delicate herbal notes.
On the palate, the attack is lively and invigorating. The freshness of the lemon provides a lovely tension, whilst the ginger gradually develops a pleasant spicy sensation without ever overpowering the overall flavour. Flavours of candied lemon, citrus zest, ginger, white pepper and a subtle hint of honey combine to create a balanced and lingering tasting experience. The finish is long, fresh and delicately spicy.
Served well chilled, neat or over ice, this flavoured rum is also ideal for making premium cocktails, pairing with citrus desserts, an exotic fruit salad or adding a twist to a reimagined tonic.
