Description
Founded in 1942 in Le Moule, Guadeloupe, the Damoiseau Distillery is one of the last family-owned and independent distilleries in the West Indies. It perpetuates a craftsmanship passed down through generations, growing its sugar cane on the volcanic slopes of the island. Concordia Old Rum, aged in oak barrels, is the fruit of this unique heritage.
This agricultural rum, distilled from pure cane juice, offers a deep amber colour and a complex nose with aromas of bourbon vanilla, exotic fruits (banana, pineapple) and noble wood. On the palate, it seduces with its roundness and flavours of melted caramel, dates, and a hint of spices (cinnamon, nutmeg). The long and persistent finish reveals nuances of cocoa and blond tobacco, typical of rums aged in the tropical climate of Guadeloupe.
