Description
McCONNELL'S Sherry Cask Finish IRISH WHISKY. This Irish Whiskey spends 5 years in barrels that previously held Bourbon before undergoing a finish in Oloroso Sherry casks.
The result is truly intriguing, with a nose reminiscent of dried figs and raisins, followed by gentle spices like nutmeg, cinnamon, and vanilla. Subsequently, the nose unfolds to reveal hints of cocoa and leather. As for the palate, it carries a very subtle sweetness, leading to notes of red and black fruits that emerge, paving the way for cocoa, wood, and leather notes.
