Description

This blended Malt whiskey was nammed in the honor of the founder of the Nikka house, Masataka Taketsuru, known as the father of the japanese whisky.

Coming out of assembled barrels from yoichi and Miyagikyo, the two nikka distilleries, this whisky offers a magical balance, going from a warm softness and and profound complexity.

The nose offers a tasty fruitiness printed by aromes of pear and orange. Its complexity and expressiveness are evolving into more vegetal notes and sweet bitterness of citrus.

The mouth is round and delicate, with notes of cereal and spices. At the same time, notes of candied fruits.

Finally, the finish a light and subtle bitterness that forms from the peat, almot reminescing from dark chocolate.
