Andresen 10-Year-Old White Port: a refined port with hints of honey
J. H. Andresen 10-Year-Old White Port 50 cl is a Portuguese fortified wine produced in the Douro Valley by a house founded in 1845. Aged for ten years in oak casks, it boasts an amber colour with golden highlights and a delicate bouquet of peach, apricot, ripe quince and honey, accompanied by floral and woody nuances. On the palate, it is full-bodied and silky, combining sweetness, concentration and a lovely lingering finish. With an alcohol content of 20% vol., this characterful white port is best enjoyed chilled as an aperitif or with foie gras, crème brûlée and desserts featuring dried fruit.

Description
Andresen is one of the only houses in Porto to offer a white wine with an age statement. This 10 year old white port from Andresen has an old gold yellow color, the nose is marked by a dominant of dried fruits (mango, apricot). The mouth reveals notes of pear, quince and fresh grapes. The house Andresen was created in 1845 by a young Dane Jann Hinrich Andresen who arrived in Portugal at the age of 14 and fell in love with Portugal and Port wines.
