Paul Jaboulet Aîné’s Parallèle 45 Blanc BIO 2024 is a Côtes du Rhône white wine that combines five grape varieties emblematic of the Rhône Valley: 38% Viognier, 33% Grenache Blanc, 12% Marsanne, 10% Roussanne and 7% Clairette. The Viognier brings floral and fruity aromas, whilst the Grenache Blanc adds roundness. Marsanne and Roussanne enhance the richness and finesse, whilst Clairette brings freshness and liveliness. The nose evokes white flowers, apricot and citrus fruits. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, fruity and balanced by a lovely freshness.

Paul Jaboulet Aîné ’s Parallèle 45 Blanc 2024 perfectly illustrates the richness of the Rhône Valley’s white grape varieties. This organic cuvée is composed of 38% Viognier, 33% Grenache Blanc, 12% Marsanne, 10% Roussanne and 7% Clairette. This blend aims to strike a balance between aromatic expression, roundness and freshness.

The Viognier brings floral and fruity notes, particularly of apricot and white-fleshed fruits. Grenache Blanc provides body and fullness, whilst Marsanne and Roussanne contribute to the wine’s richness and finesse on the palate. Clairette rounds the blend off with a pleasant freshness.

On tasting, the wine is clear and brilliant in colour. The nose combines white flowers and ripe fruit. The palate is generous, fruity and balanced, with a fresh, mineral finish.

This organic white wine from the Côtes du Rhône is the perfect accompaniment to fish, shellfish, a Thai prawn salad, a fillet of cod with tarragon, veal blanquette or a cheese platter.
