AROMO Reserva Privada Carménère 2023: a refined expression of Chilean Carménère
The AROMO Reserva Privada Carménère 2023 showcases one of the most iconic grape varieties of Chilean viticulture. Originally from Bordeaux, Carménère has found conditions in Chile – particularly in the Maule Valley – that are particularly favourable to its development. This cuvée is made from 100% Carménère, harvested by hand to preserve the quality and aromatic expression of the grapes.
On the palate, the wine reveals a round and harmonious texture. The tannins are supple and velvety, whilst flavours of black fruit, spices and cocoa linger in a long, warm finish. The wine strikes a fine balance between aromatic richness and freshness.
Served at between 16 and 18 °C, this Chilean red wine is the perfect accompaniment to a rib of beef, grilled meat, roast lamb, duck breast, chilli con carne or spiced stews. It also pairs well with mature cheeses. The AROMO Reserva Privada Carménère 2023 is a wonderful discovery for lovers of full-bodied, supple and intensely fruity red wines.
