Description

Here presented in magnum This Châteauneuf du Pape Domaine du Père Caboche with an expressive and fresh nose, with a nice dominant of ripe strawberries and redcurrants, enhanced with notes of sweet spices: bay leaf sauce and gray pepper. The attack on this Châteauneuf du Pape by Jean Pierre Boisson is frank, with a balance on finesse, very integrated tannins and a nice refreshing minerality on the finish despite its 15 °. In the past, family members, the Boisson, had two trades at the same time: Winegrower and Maréchal-Ferrant. The name of the Domain comes from this second trade, because the nails fixing the irons under the horses' hooves are called, in Provençal language, "caboche". It was then the nickname we gave to the Boisson family.
