The Sancerre Rouge La Poussie 2023 is an iconic Loire wine that perfectly illustrates the potential of Pinot Noir on the great terroirs of Sancerre. Since 1993, the estate has been owned by Baron Patrick de Ladoucette, a leading figure in the world of fine Loire wines, who continues the historic excellence of La Poussie, a vineyard whose origins date back to the 11th century. Thanks to meticulous viticulture and a rigorous selection of the finest plots, this cuvée reveals the full character of its flint and limestone terroir.

Here, the Pinot Noir expresses all its elegance with a complex nose of morello cherry, raspberry, redcurrant, violet and subtle notes of pepper, undergrowth and liquorice. On the palate, the attack is supple and precise. The delicate, silky tannins support a refined structure where crisp red fruits combine with lovely freshness and a subtle minerality. The long, harmonious finish confirms the nobility of this great red from the Loire.
