Description

Bellevoye whiskeys are French triple malts. This is the first time that Bellevoye has presented a forty-year-old Calvados cask finish.

Surprisingly, this whiskey has fine notes of peat and smoke on the nose, and less surprisingly, notes of cooked apples, pineapple and orange peel. Then it's notes of spices like nutmeg and cinnamon that take over.

The mouth is fat and full, the finish always evokes cooked apples and a very elegant wood.

A real treat ....
