Wee Smoky is a Single Grain Whisky produced in Scotland in keeping with the traditions of Scotch whisky. Unlike single malts, it is produced mainly from grains and distilled in column stills, giving it a particularly smooth and silky texture. Its profile is then enriched by a subtle peaty influence that adds complexity without overpowering the aromas.

Its brilliant golden colour heralds a generous nose where vanilla, light caramel, fresh grains, honey and a delicate smokiness intermingle. Upon aeration, notes of baked apple, pear, biscuit, toasted hazelnut and lightly toasted oak emerge. On the palate, the attack is round and velvety. Flavours of caramel, crème brûlée, vanilla and cereal gradually evolve into notes of gentle smoke, white pepper and spices. The finish is long, balanced and pleasantly peaty, without being overpowering.

Served neat, with a few drops of water or over ice, this whisky is the perfect accompaniment to smoked charcuterie, gravlax, mature cheeses or a dark chocolate dessert. It also makes an excellent base for a reimagined Old Fashioned or Whisky Sour.
