Description

This organic Pouilly-Fumé from Domaine des Mariniers is a wine by Joseph MELLOT.

Vines averaging 25 years of age across 14 hectares, combined with vinification and ageing in stainless steel vats, produce a wine with a beautiful yellow colour and greenish highlights. The nose is characterised by lovely notes of citrus and exotic fruits, as well as mineral notes.

On the palate, this mineral character is evident, giving the wine its tension and liveliness. The citrus and exotic fruit notes are confirmed. This lovely white wine from the Loire pairs well with a seafood platter, fish in sauce, or fresh goat’s cheese from the region.
