Secret de Famille Viognier 75 cl: the aromatic expression of a great white grape variety

Secret de Famille Viognier is a white wine from Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné that emphasises the grape variety’s natural expression. Made from 100% Viognier, it is crafted from a selection of grapes grown in areas situated between the Alpine and Cévennes foothills and the Mediterranean coast. These variations in altitude and temperature, with sunny days and cool nights, foster a beautiful aromatic complexity.

The Viognier is harvested by hand at full ripeness and then pressed as whole bunches. Fermentation at low temperature in stainless steel tanks helps to preserve the grape variety’s fruity and floral aromas. The wine is then aged for six months on fine lees.

On the nose, the wine is alluring and exotic, dominated by white flowers and white-fleshed fruits. On the palate, it is full-bodied, fresh and well-balanced, with a pleasant texture and an aromatic finish.

This 100% Viognier white wine will be particularly enjoyable with seafood, lemongrass prawns, fish in a light sauce or Asian cuisine. It can also be served as an aperitif.
