Château des Nouvelles – Mas La Borde Fitou, a Languedoc red with a Mediterranean character

Château des Nouvelles presents Mas La Borde Fitou, an elegant and full-bodied red wine from Languedoc. Produced at the heart of the Fitou appellation, this cuvée showcases the region’s iconic grape varieties: Carignan, Grenache and Syrah. Thanks to this Mediterranean blend, the wine develops a beautiful aromatic intensity whilst retaining freshness and balance.

The nose reveals aromas of ripe black fruits, plum, liquorice and sweet spices. Notes of thyme and garrigue evoke the sunny terroir of the Languedoc. On the palate, Mas La Borde Fitou offers a full-bodied, velvety texture supported by mellow tannins and a pleasant freshness. The lingering finish reveals peppery and slightly toasty nuances.

Carignan provides structure and authenticity, Grenache brings roundness and fruitiness, whilst Syrah enriches the wine with its aromatic power and spicy notes. This balance between the grape varieties results in a harmonious and indulgent Fitou.
