Description

The Chita Suntory Japanese Single Grain

The Chita whisky is produced by the Suntory Yamazaki distillery in Japan, near the city of Kyoto. This is a very special whisky for the distillery, as it is Suntory's first single grain. The Citra is a blend of 3 distillates and 5 different whisky profiles.

As for ageing, The Chita spent several years in oak casks containing European wine.

Tasting this famous Japanese Single Malt

On the nose, this whisky offers notes of crème brulée, rose and honey. On the palate, the honey flavour is rather intense and adds sweetness to this grain whisky. On the finish, The Chita offers a few spicy notes, always with sweetness and finesse.
