Grandin Brut Sparkling White Wine.  GRANDIN Brut Traditional Method. This high-quality bubble is made from the Airen, Chardonnay, Colombard, Macabeu and ugni Blanc grape varieties. Of course, depending on the characteristics of each harvest, the proportions in the final blend may vary. The effervescence of this Grandin Brut Cuvée de Réserve is obtained using the Traditional method. This way of proceeding consists in starting a second fermentation of a still white wine (without bubbles) in a hermetically sealed bottle. This fermentation produces co2 which liquefies under pressure. it is then assimilated to wine. This is one of the possible methods of obtaining sparkling wine. But the secret to the quality of this Grandin Brut is as follows. The bottles age in the cellar for a minimum of 9 months before being marketed. This "aging on Lie" gives the wine all its roundness and allows it to develop the subtlety of its aromas.
