The ‘The World of Whiskies’ Advent Calendar – Academy V offers an original and educational approach to whisky tasting. Rather than limiting itself to the great Scottish classics, this fifth edition brings together 25 whiskies from ten producing countries or territories: Scotland, Ireland, the United States, Japan, France, India, Taiwan, Wales, Australia and China.

Each compartment contains a 2 cl sample bottle, a size perfectly suited to individual tasting. The set thus allows you to gradually compare styles, raw materials, distillation techniques and the influences of ageing. Whisky enthusiasts can move from a Scottish single malt such as Kilchoman Sanaig or The Dalmore Port Wood Reserve to an American bourbon such as Michter’s US 1 Bourbon, before discovering the distinctive characteristics of Japanese whisky with Nikka Coffey Grain or Yoichi Single Malt.
