Description

Rubbens Amer 18°: a must-have for aperitifs and cocktails

Rubbens Amer has an amber colour with coppery highlights. The nose opens with aromas of bitter orange, mandarin, citrus zest, gentian, aromatic herbs and subtle spicy notes. On the palate, the attack is fresh and slightly sweet before giving way to an elegant, perfectly balanced bitterness. Flavours of candied orange, cinchona, aromatic herbs and mild spices balance harmoniously, leading to a lingering and refreshing finish.

Served very chilled, Rubbens Amer is traditionally enjoyed diluted with still or sparkling water, with a few ice cubes and a slice of orange or lemon. It also makes an excellent base for putting a new spin on classic cocktails or creating original aperitifs with citrus flavours.
