The Yoichi distillery, located on the island of Hokkaido, is one of the birthplaces of Japanese whisky. It was founded in 1934 by Masataka Taketsuru after he completed his apprenticeship in Scotland. Yoichi 10 Years Old is a single malt that embodies the perfect balance between Scottish tradition and Japanese finesse. Aged in bourbon and sherry casks, this whisky develops a rich aromatic palette: notes of candied fruit (orange, apricot), acacia honey, and a slight peaty smoke, inherited from the charcoal stills still in use today.

On the palate, its velvety texture reveals flavours of baked apple, bourbon vanilla and a hint of roasted nuts. The long, harmonious finish leaves an impression of spicy wood and cocoa, with a subtle minerality reminiscent of the wild landscapes of Hokkaido.
