Description
HERMITAGE Rouge La Maison Bleue 2017 by Paul Ainé JABOULET. This great red wine from the Rhône Valley has a beautiful purple color with lovely ruby reflections. The nose immediately evokes red and black fruits (raspberry, blackberry) but also a hint of smoke and spices including licorice. The palate is powerful, full-bodied, and supple at the same time. La Maison Bleue is not the second wine of the famous Hermitage La Chapelle from the Jaboulet house, but it will be more affordable in every way while maintaining a certain connection.
Aged for 12 months in oak barrels, of which 20% are first-fill barrels.
