The color of this Cornas cuvée Chante Perdrix from Delas Frères is intense garnet red. The nose offers notes of blackcurrant, which evolve over the years to peppery and liquorice notes. The mouth is very structured and the finish is marked by spices and liquorice. This Cornas is aged in the wood for 12 to 14 months depending on the vintage and regular racking provides the oxygen necessary for the maturation of the tannins.
