Description

This Crozes Hermitage du Domaine de Thalabert 2021 from Paul Ainé Jaboulet has a deep ruby colour, limpid and brilliant. The nose is intense and complex with notes of red fruit and animal, leather and musk. The palate confirms the impressions on the nose with power and finesse. This Crozes Hermitage is 100% Syrah with a yield of 40hl/ha. The vines are between 50 and 70 years old and this wine is aged in wood for 12 months. The vineyards of Crozes Hermitage covers 11 communes in the Drôme department, on the left bank of the Rhône. Domaine de Thalabert has been owned by Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné since 1834, and is a lowland vineyard, the oldest in the appellation.
