Discover Domaine Haut Marin in Côtes de Gascogne

The Haut-Marin vineyards are located in the heart of Bas Armagnac, not far from the legendary Via Podensis, the route taken for centuries by pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela. Today, the estate owns 180 hectares of vines in the Côtes de Gascogne and Armagnac regions. The land is located on a renowned marine geological site, hence the name of the estate and the many references to the world of the sea in the cuvées.

Tasting Haut Marin Vin Blanc Cuvée Elisabeth 1

To begin with, let's talk about the grape variety: 50% Ugni Blanc and 5% Colombard. To the taste, this white wine is rather dry yet supple and fruity. It has a lovely pale yellow colour, followed by notes of ripe fruit such as apricot and peach, as well as hints of flowers. On the palate, Haut Marin 1 is round, lively, well-balanced and quite refreshing.
