The technique is known as Active Wine Extraction, or AWX. It uses low pressure and low temperature to extract flavour compounds and natural pigments from the rosé wine. These are then incorporated into the wheat-based vodka, creating a spirit with a pink appearance and a fruit-forward aromatic profile.
