Tequila Código 1530 Reposado pays tribute to 1530, the year the Spanish introduced distillation to Mexico, laying the foundations for modern tequila. This 100% agave reposado, aged for six months in French oak barrels, combines tradition and innovation. Its name evokes ancestral expertise, while embodying the brand's artisanal excellence.
On the nose, it unfolds warm and enveloping aromas of vanilla, caramel and dried fruit, with a touch of toasted agave and a hint of sweet spices (cinnamon, pepper). On the palate, its velvety texture reveals flavours of wild honey, roasted nuts and dark chocolate, followed by a long, balanced finish, blending noble wood and ripe fruit. This ageing process gives it a subtle complexity, combining sweetness and spicy structure.
Ideal for sipping neat or in sophisticated cocktails such as an Old Fashioned, it should be enjoyed at a temperature of between 18 and 20°C. An elegant and profound tequila.
