Description
ARCHIVES Single Malt Whisky SECRET ISLAY, 32 years old, distilled on November 20, 1990, and bottled on June 1, 2022, at 51.9% ABV, from cask 4404337, producing 257 bottles. Part of the Fishes of SAMOA collection, the distillery's name remains undisclosed.
As with all great aged Islay single malts, the peat serves the whisky, not the other way around.
You'll also appreciate, alongside the delicate peat influence, medicinal and smoky notes, as well as hints of baked citrus. There are also subtle aromas of salinity and iodine. On the palate, it's a symphony of fruity notes—pears, peaches, and pineapple.
