Description
Captain Morgan Black Spiced Rum. The name of this brand of rum refers to the famous pirate Henry Morgan who roamed the Caribbean seas in the 17th century. Two elements explain the typicality of this black spiced. It is "black" because the bourbon casks used were burned twice, then the whole after aging was still macerated with herbs and spices. This gives a spiced rum with an almost burnt toasted nose, a presence of spices such as nutmeg, vanilla and cinnamon, followed by notes of red fruits and caramel. The impressions in the mouth confirm the spices and notes of cocoa and coffee add to the whole.
The great complexity of this spiced rum makes it the rum wanted by the bartenders.
