Linkwood 12 Year Old Very Cloudy: an authentic and rich Scotch whisky

The 2013 Linkwood 12 Year Old boasts a superb brilliant gold colour with golden highlights. The nose is delicate and expressive, dominated by aromas of green apple, Williams pear, white peach, acacia honey, vanilla, wildflowers and malted biscuit. As it breathes, subtle notes of almond, candied lemon and delicately toasted oak emerge.

On the palate, the attack is round, supple and particularly silky. Flavours of orchard fruit, vanilla cream, light caramel, cereal, fresh hazelnut and sweet spices harmonise perfectly with a lovely freshness typical of great Speyside whiskies. The finish is long, elegant and slightly spicy, revealing notes of honey, ripe fruit and fine oak.

Whether enjoyed neat, with a few drops of water, or paired with an apple dessert, an almond financier or white chocolate, this Speyside Single Malt will appeal to lovers of fine, well-balanced whiskies.
