Le Vallon 2022 perfectly exemplifies the style of Domaine des Terres Blanches, owned by the Saget family, whose aim is to produce wines that accurately express the great terroirs of the Centre-Loire region. Working alongside Stéphane Derenoncourt’s team, the estate practises sustainable viticulture to bring out the full character of the Sauvignon Blanc. This single-vineyard selection is aged on fine lees, which enhances its texture whilst preserving the vintage’s aromatic brilliance.

The bouquet reveals aromas of lime, grapefruit zest, white peach, acacia blossom and blackcurrant buds, accompanied by a delicate mineral note reminiscent of flint. On the palate, the wine captivates with its balance of richness, tension and freshness. The texture is full-bodied, underpinned by a lovely liveliness that carries the fruity flavours through to a lingering, elegant and briny finish.
