Description
Zacapa Royal Gran Reserva Especial Solera Rum
This Guatemalan rum is made from the first juice of the sugar cane, which gives it greater roundness. Solera ageing consists of blending rums from different years to offer greater aromatic richness.
This cuvée is aged in French oak barrels made from Roy wood, which gives it great complexity. Another distinctive feature of this great Zacapa Royal cuvée is that it is aged at an altitude of over 2,300 metres.
Zacapa Royal has an intense amber colour with aromas of dried fruit, vanilla, caramel, dark chocolate and spices. The attack on the palate is very impressive with notes of caramel, honey, vanilla and spices. This is followed by woody and slightly spicy notes. The finish is long and intense on the palate with flavours of caramel, chocolate, black fruits and wood.
