Old St. Croix XO Reserve Superior Cask is a carefully composed blend of double-distilled spirits sourced from the Caribbean and Central America. Previously associated with the A.H. Riise name, it belongs to a collection that celebrates the art of blending and the influence of oak maturation. Selected casks, some of which previously held port or sherry, help create a smooth, full-bodied profile with layers of sweetness, spice and mature wood character.
Its golden colour introduces aromas of toasted coconut, roasted figs and flambéed banana. The palate brings forward rich toffee, subtle glazed mandarin and notes reminiscent of a cigar box. As the spirit develops, the finish reveals leather, tobacco and cocoa, leaving a long and balanced impression. The result is a distinctive combination of ripe fruit, caramel and dry, woody nuances.
