The Whistler Distillery, located in Ireland's Wicklow Mountains, is renowned for its innovative and elegant whiskies. Double Oaked is a blend of malt and grain, first aged in bourbon casks and then finished in new oak casks, giving it a unique aromatic complexity. On the nose, it offers a sweet bouquet of vanilla, caramel and candied fruit. On the palate, it unfolds flavours of honey, caramelised apple and a hint of nuts, with a long, smooth finish.
