Description
Glenfarclas Private Reserve is a Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky produced in a limited edition of 6,000 bottles for the French market. It has an alcohol content of 48%, a nod to the 46 years of collaboration between Glenfarclas and the wine merchant Mähler-Besse, their distributor in France.
The nose evokes a general malt base with notes of coffee, caramel and candied exotic fruits. These impressions then give way to fragrances of cocoa and red fruits. On the palate, notes of heather honey, vanilla, hazelnuts and almonds appear, followed by peach. The malt notes that are immediately apparent on the nose are also evident on the finish.
