The Damoiseau Distillery, located at the Bellevue mill in Guadeloupe, is one of the oldest and most respected in the Caribbean. Their VSOP is a 4-year-old agricultural rum, made from local sugar cane and distilled using traditional methods. This rum offers a captivating nose of vanilla, tropical fruits (banana, pineapple) and a hint of cinnamon. On the palate, it unfolds a rich aromatic palette: caramel, cocoa, roasted nuts and a touch of blond tobacco, with a long, spicy finish.

The Guadeloupe terroir, characterised by its volcanic soils and tropical climate, gives this rum a unique identity, combining smoothness and character. With over a century of history, Damoiseau has mastered the art of ageing its rums in oak barrels to obtain deep aromas and a silky texture. The VSOP is a perfect balance between youth and maturity.

Perfect for lovers of aged rums, this 42% ABV rum can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in cocktails such as an Old Fashioned or a revisited Ti' Punch. It also pairs beautifully with chocolate desserts or blue cheeses... which is surprising but worth trying.
