Chimay Bleu is one of the most well-known Trappist beers in the world. Every year, the brewery successfully experiments with different finishes for its brown beer.
Discover this version of Chimay Bleu Grande Réserve, which has been aged successively in French oak barrels, then in American oak barrels, and finished in RUM barrels.
This beer offers aromas of dried fruits, apricot, and peach, followed by notes of caramel and cocoa. On the palate, vanilla and orange notes are the first to appear, followed by hints of hazelnut, almond, and gingerbread. The finish is reminiscent of exotic fruits, including banana and rum-soaked raisins
