B&B Bénédictine & Brandy stands out for its balance between the aromatic richness of a herbal liqueur and the depth of a French brandy. Developed in the 1930s, this creation was designed to offer a drier, more oaky tasting experience than Bénédictine D.O.M. on its own. Ageing in oak casks helps to integrate the aromas and create a harmonious whole.

On the nose, notes of herbs, spices and dried fruit mingle with hints of caramel. On the palate, the sweetness of honey combines with light woody notes and spices, underpinned by the structure provided by the brandy. The finish remains smooth, warm and lingering. Its profile makes it a versatile liqueur, suitable both for sipping neat and for use in cocktails.

It can be served over ice as an aperitif, enjoyed as a digestif or used in classic cocktails. Its herbaceous and woody character also lends itself to pairings with citrus zest or hints of coffee.

The cocktail Bénédictine and Brandy, ‘B&B’, is a blend of brandy and Bénédictine liqueur, produced in Fécamp. Bénédictine is a digestif; this liqueur is made from herbs, spices and grain spirit. Brandy (a wine-based spirit, of which cognac and armagnac are examples) is added to the Bénédictine before the mixture is left to age for at least a further four months.
