Description
"Teaspooning" is a practice that consists of adding the equivalent of a tea spoon (tea Spoon) of a blend in a single cask (single cask). This is practiced when selling whiskey casks directly from a distillery to an independent bottler.
It happens that the distillery wishes to sell barrels, while preventing the name of the distillery from being used by the independent bottler. By the simple fact that the equivalent of a Tea Spoon of a single malt whiskey of unknown origin is assembled so that the cask is downgraded to Blended malt by losing the right to use the name of the distillery.
Therefore we do not know which distillery this blended malt comes from.
