Description
The vineyard at Château La Commanderie is mainly composed of two sections: one neighboring Château Montrose and the other situated on a steep gravelly slope facing the renowned Lafite-Rothschild vineyard.
The estate has been in the possession of the Meffre family since 1956, and they also own other vineyards in Pauillac and Saint Julien.
Since 1996, Claude Meffre has dedicated careful attention to optimizing the potential of this terroir. Diligent work in the vineyard ensures a high-quality harvest that is processed using the latest equipment in the cellar.
