Description
This Rhum Saint JAMES XO has a beautiful dark mahogany colour which bears witness to 6 years spent in oak casks. On the nose, this Very Old Agricultural Rum from Martinique offers notes of wood, brandy, fruit (almond, fig) and roasting, including coffee, but also notes of cocoa and light tobacco. The palate is naturally marked by notes of roasting, a logical continuation of what is perceived on the nose. Then fruity notes emerge, reminiscent of figs and prunes. The finish is marked by spices, cinnamon and nutmeg.
