Hampden 1753 embodies the iconic style of the finest Jamaican rums, renowned for their unrivalled aromatic character. Following a particularly long fermentation period, the rum is distilled in the distillery’s famous copper stills, preserving the full richness of Hampden’s characteristic aromas.

It boasts a beautiful deep golden colour with amber highlights. The nose is particularly expressive, with aromas of roasted pineapple, ripe banana, mango, orange peel, candied lemon, vanilla, pepper, nutmeg and fresh sugar cane. On the palate, the attack is full-bodied and lively. The exotic flavours develop with intensity before giving way to notes of honey, candied fruit, mild spices and subtle vegetal hints. The finish is long, warm and lingering, characterised by tropical fruits, citrus and a lovely freshness.

Best enjoyed neat, with a large ice cube or in a premium cocktail, this Jamaican rum also pairs beautifully with dark chocolate, pineapple tart, an exotic dessert or a cigar.
