Château Chasse-Spleen 2022, the Grand Vin of Moulis-en-Médoc
Château Chasse-Spleen 2022 is a Grand Vin Rouge de Bordeaux, produced on gravelly soil typical of the Moulis-en-Médoc appellation. Made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (70%), Merlot (25%) and Petit Verdot (5%), this wine displays a complex nose of blackcurrant, blackberry, liquorice and a touch of cedar. On the palate, it offers flavours of black fruits, tobacco and a subtle minerality, supported by mellow tannins and a long finish.
The 2022 vintage, marked by a sunny summer and cool nights, gives this wine great concentration and remarkable freshness. Best served between 16 and 18°C, it is the perfect accompaniment to red meat, game or mature cheeses.
