Pouilly Fumé half bottle from Domaine de Maltaverne.

This fine dry white wine from the Loire is made from Sauvignon grapes. The terroir of Pouilly Fumé is clay-limestone, which gives this wine distinct aromas of gunflint and white fruit.

The Domaine de Maltaverne covers 15 hectares of vines, and its guiding principle is to produce wines with a fine minerality and freshness.

Ageing on fine lees accentuates its aromatic complexity and gives it texture on the palate.

The colour of this Pouilly Fumé Maltaverne is a beautiful pale yellow with green highlights. The nose offers notes of citrus fruit, white flowers and exotic fruit, as well as a hint of minerality typical of the appellation. The palate is lively, fresh and taut. You'll love the citrus notes of lemon and grapefruit and the minerality reminiscent of gunflint.

An elegant, well-balanced wine to match with oysters, prawns, fish dishes and fresh goat's cheese.

Serve between 8 and 10°C
