Grown on schist and clay soils, this cuvée offers aromas of ripe black fruits, liquorice and sweet spices. Round and generous, it seduces with its silky tannins and lingering finish. This beautiful wine is the perfect accompaniment to grilled meats and mature cheeses.

Domaine Lafage, Cuvée Léa: the expression of the beautiful terroirs of Roussillon

Domaine Lafage's Cuvée Léa is a tribute to the terroirs of Roussillon, where schist, clay and pebbles produce powerful and elegant wines. This red wine is a harmonious blend of:

  • 60% Grenache: brings roundness, fruitiness (blackberry, raspberry) and suppleness.
  • 30% Syrah: contributes structure, notes of pepper and violet blossom.
  • 10% Carignan: reinforces the tannins and aromas of liquorice and spices.

The vines, aged between 30 and 50 years old, are cultivated using sustainable farming methods on sunny slopes swept by the Tramontane wind. The vintage benefits from a Mediterranean climate, with hot summers and cool nights, ideal for optimal ripening of the grapes. Vinified in stainless steel vats and then aged in oak barrels, this wine combines fruitiness and complexity.

Cuvée Léa is the perfect accompaniment to Mediterranean dishes (stews, grilled meats) or strong cheeses. A bottle that celebratesthe authenticity of Roussillon and the talent of Jean-Marc Lafage.
