The Côtes du Rhône Villages Réserve Domaine de La Solitude is a cuvée that perfectly reflects the character of the terroirs of the southern Rhône Valley. Crafted from a blend of Grenache Noir, Syrah and Mourvèdre, this red wine combines power, finesse and elegance. The grapes come from particularly stony clay-limestone terroirs, yielding naturally low yields and a beautiful concentration of aromas.

Grenache Noir forms the basis of the blend, contributing generous aromas of cherry, raspberry and ripe red fruits, as well as a lovely roundness on the palate. The Syrah enriches the wine with notes of blackcurrant, violet, black pepper and spices, whilst adding freshness and depth. Mourvèdre rounds the blend off with an elegant tannic structure, along with hints of garrigue, liquorice and black fruits that enhance the wine’s complexity.

On the nose, this Côtes du Rhône Villages reveals an intense bouquet of red berries, blackberries, thyme, rosemary and sweet spices. The palate is full-bodied, generous and perfectly balanced. The tannins are fine and silky, supporting a lingering finish characterised by black fruits and Provençal herbs.
