This CÔTE ROTIE “MON VILLAGE” 2019 from Stéphane OGIER is a wine that can be described as fine, precise and elegant.

As every year, the harvests are carried out plot by plot, which allows vinification by plot. This method allows Stéphane Ogier to get the best out of each terroir.

This “Mon Village” cuvée is thus the blend, for example, of 6 different plots.

We therefore find a wine with a beautiful dark ruby ​​color with slightly purple reflections when young. The first impression on the nose transports us to a field of flowers including peony and violet. Then fruit notes appear such as blackberries, blackcurrant, blueberries. That's not all, the second nose will in turn reveal notes of gray tobacco, black truffle and pepper.

The palate confirms the aromas envisaged on the nose, the structure of the wine is suave, the aromas are very subtle and delicate, then the finish reveals the extent of its power potential with notes of liquorice and the signature of violet, the mark of great wines from Côte-Rotie.
