Description

Copper Fox Rye is a quality whiskey from America. It is distilled and bottled in Virginia at the Copper Fox Distillery. Cereals used: two thirds of Rye and one third of hand malted barley. Rye is a mixture of several cereals including a minimum of 51% rye. Drying is carried out over an apple and cherry wood fire. Aging takes place in several stages: first in a Bourbon barrel, mix with apple wood and oak shavings, then finish in a bourbon barrel alone. It is a "non-chill filtered" whiskey, an expression which indicates that it has not been cold filtered. Non-chill filtered whiskeys offer more dense and complex whiskeys with great aromatic richness.
