Description

The Cuvée Rosé Prestige of this Demarjory Rosé Champagne (formerly Champagne Jean Pierre Robert) is adorned with a light apricot color with coral reflections. The nose is elegant with light notes of peony and hawthorn. The dominant one is made of red fruits, blood orange and strawberry jam. In the mouth, the small red fruits reveal themselves under aromas of morello cherries, raspberries, currants ... and make a delicate and delicious rosé. This rosé champagne is one of the best rosé champagnes for us. The soils formed in the Riceys vineyard are mainly brown limestone soils and some rendzines which differ from it by a shallow depth.
Most brown limestone soils are based on clay-stony materials from marls. It is the erosion of the hillsides which formed this substrate by runoff or landslides. This substrate varies from 40 to 80 cm and it is on it that rests most of the vineyard. The commune of Riceys is landlocked between two hills, where the Laigne river flows. This river erodes a soil loaded with alluvium.
