Description
Here is an excellent 2012 vintage aged rum from the Dominican Republic by MEZAN. The AFD distillery produces this magnificent rum, from sugar cane grown in the provinces of San Pedro de Macoris, La Romana, La Altagracia and El Seibo.
A 5-column still was used for distillation, then this rum spent 10 years in Bourbon barrels, including 3 in a tropical climate and 7 in a continental climate.
You will inevitably like the nose of this rum which offers notes of vanilla, cinnamon, coconut and orange blossom, then the palate which confirms the notes revealed on the nose with beautiful notes of wood and sweet spices. .
